Who we are
Super Power Backup Supplies has been sourcing power equipment for clients across South Africa and the wider continent since 2011.
We're suppliers rather than manufacturers, and that works in your favour. Because we aren't tied to a single factory, we specify the unit that suits your load, your site and your budget — not the one we happen to build.
Owner-run from Johannesburg and Mossel Bay, we deal with municipalities, mines, farms, factories and electrical contractors. You speak to the person who takes responsibility for the order.

Power Solutions
Getting the specification right
Most of the job is choosing correctly in the first place. Send us the load, the voltages and the site conditions, and we'll come back with what actually fits and what it will cost.
Sourced without bias
We aren't a factory, so we have no stock to push. We go to the manufacturer whose product suits your application and we'll tell you plainly when a cheaper unit will do the job just as well.
Delivered where you need it
We supply throughout South Africa and across the continent, to sites that are often a long way from anywhere. Lead times, freight and cross-border paperwork are part of what you're buying, not an afterthought.

Installation and warranty
We supply the equipment. Installation can be arranged through us or through the manufacturer — just say so when you enquire and we'll quote it with the order.
The equipment carries the manufacturer's warranty against manufacturing defects: 12 months on transformers, miniature substations and SBW stabilisers, and 24 months on compact stabilisers. That warranty holds where installation is carried out by us or by the manufacturer. If you arrange your own contractor, it falls away.
We'd rather tell you that up front than after something goes wrong.
